Dr. Mariya Shaeffer

Dr. Mariya, originally from Akron, Ohio, spent the first 23 years of her life in her hometown before making the move to Marietta, GA, to pursue her chiropractic studies at Life University. Before diving into chiropractic school, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Akron. Driven by her passion for natural and holistic healthcare, Dr. Mariya has always been a strong advocate for minimizing unnecessary medications. Embracing the chiropractic lifestyle aligns perfectly with her values, and she’s made it her mission to promote a health-conscious, toxin-free lifestyle for both her family and her patients.

In her professional practice and personal life, Dr. Mariya is dedicated to reducing toxins and constantly seeks out the most natural and effective products for her family. During her chiropractic studies, she developed a special interest in prenatal and pediatric care. To serve these communities better, she pursued extra coursework and certifications, becoming Webster Certified and completing multiple modules through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Her enthusiasm for pediatric care continues to grow, and she’s committed to expanding her knowledge in treating children with diverse needs.

Having personal experience caring for children with special needs, Dr. Mariya is deeply dedicated to ensuring that every child has the chance to achieve optimal health through a clear and well-functioning nervous system. She believes this foundation allows them to thrive and reach their fullest potential.
